Các phép hiệu chuẩn
Để quy trình diễn ra chuẩn xác, có trật tự thì các nhà khoa học đã tiến hành biên soạn các bước tiến hành. Do đó, khi bắt tay thực hiện cần chú ý áp dụng theo trình tự gồm:
- Kiểm tra bên ngoài
- Kiểm tra kỹ thuật: chú ý khả năng ổn định của chuẩn, tính ổn định khi khởi chạy máy.
- Kiểm tra đo lường: xác định điểm kiểm soát, sai số tuyệt đối và hồi quy.
Phương tiện hiệu chuẩn

- Phải cho máy chạy tối thiểu nửa tiếng trước lúc bắt đầu. Áp dụng cho cả hai loại hệ thống đã đề cập ở trên. Chú ý kiểm tra tính ổn định khi chạy thử của chúng.
- Ngoài ra, khi sử dụng trong công nghiệp thì cần cài đặt tốc độ chạy của máy lên gấp ba lần bình thường. SALG được dùng có biên độ đo 1000mm.

Đây là khâu cơ bản nhưng rất quan trọng. Nó yêu cầu người tiến hành kiểm tra độ phù hợp của chi tiết máy như màn hình hiển thị, gờ nối, bộ lọc chuẩn… Khi so sánh danh sách mô tả kỹ thuật, cần đảm bảo có độ tương cận cao. Nếu nhận thấy sản phẩm có chi tiết lắp đặt không phù hợp với quy trình thì cần đổi ngay hoặc tạm dừng tiến hành.

- Xác định tính ổn định khi di chuyển SALG: do yêu cầu của quy trình hiệu chuẩn nên SALG không được lắp cố định. Việc xác định sai số của nó sẽ giúp người tiến hành tính toán được độ lệch của phép đo. Từ đó tiến hành hạn chế các yếu tố không mong muốn tác động lên quy trình hiệu chuẩn.
- Ước lượng độ ổn định của dung dịch chứa đựng: xác định tại hai giá trị cao nhất và tối thiểu của lưu lượng chất lỏng.
Kiểm tra đo lường thiết bị đo mức tự động
Tiến hành cẩn thận theo trình tự sau. Chú ý không được
- Chọn mức hiệu chuẩn.
- Ước tính sai số của SALG: chọn từ giá trị 0 sau đó nâng dần lượng chất lỏng lên mức tối đa. Trong khi tiến hành nâng giá trị thì dùng thiết bị đo nhiệt đọc kết quả. Ghi chép vào bảng theo hướng dẫn của nhà sản xuất.
Ước lượng độ không đảm bảo đo
Độ không đảm bảo đo ký hiệu là ĐKĐBĐ. Đây là giá trị gây ra tính sai số lớn cho phép đo. Do đó cần hạn chế tối đa thông số này trong phạm vi cho phép. Các yếu tố tác động trực tiếp đến đại lượng này gồm có sai số chuẩn, độ lệch khi đọc kết quả bằng mắt, thao tác thực hiện có số dư… Để giảm thiểu thông số này, sau mỗi bước đo đạc cần kiểm tra lại trước khi chuyển sang bước tiếp theo.
Xử lý chung
- Sau khi hoàn tất các bước trên, thiết bị có ĐKĐBĐ dưới 0,5mm hoặc 1,3mm tùy theo mục đích sử dụng. Và đồng thời có mức sai số hồi quy tại mọi mức đo tối đa là 1mm. Thỏa mãn đồng thời hai tiêu chí trên, thiết bị đo mức tự động sẽ được cấp chứng nhận.
- Nếu không đạt dù chỉ một yêu cầu, thiết bị đo mức tự động sẽ không được cấp mới và xóa dấu cũ.
- Chu kỳ hiệu chuẩn: 12 tháng
